Designing, Printing and Installation- Climate Change Learning Lab-NABARD
Indo-German Project on Climate Finance has supported the Bankers Institute of Rural Development, an autonomous society supported by the NABARD, and established the Center for Climate Change. This project as part of a modern learning environment, set up for a learning lab for experiential learning was recommended.
A learning lab as an innovative instrument of experiential learning will contribute to the sustainable competence development of the target group in the Center of Excellence for Climate Change at BIRD on the topics of climate change and climate finance. A deep understanding, retention of knowledge,
and holistic competence development(aiming at knowledge, abilities, and attitude) are improved with experiential learning. The lab can be used for self-paced learning as well as for training activities. The Learning Lab consists of 7 modules, each focusing on different aspects of Climate Change; awareness,
impacts, contribution, and the complexity of Climate Change, Climate Finance, projects of Climate Finance, and attitude toward Climate Change.
The Learning Lab has been organized in such a way that visitors can come and tour the entire lab, self-guided without any instructions, from the start to the end. There are panels, photo booths, large picture displays, screens, handsets, puzzle games, an application for a game, etc. installed inside the lab.
